About Our Travel Care Services

If you’re planning to travel out of the country, it’s important to know that some countries require different vaccines than the United States does. That’s why the team at Medics USA is here to help make sure you meet those requirements, allowing you to travel happily and healthily.

TRAVEL CARE

Medics USA provides the full range of travel care services:

  • Consultation — including recommendations for concerns that may arise during your trip to a specific area of the world;
  • Overseas clearance exams; and
  • Vaccinations — based on your itinerary and heath history.

Medics USA is also authorized to provide immigration physicals by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services at all of our medical clinics. (Learn More)

What Vaccines Do We Provide?

  • Different countries have specific vaccines that they require. You should always plan to receive your vaccines 60 days prior to departing.

    While most insurance companies do not cover the cost of vaccinations, Medics USA is here to help you with reasonably priced vaccines.

    The vaccines that we provide include:

    • Hepatitis A and B
    • Twinrix (Hep A & B combo)
    • Influenza
    • Japanese Encephalitis (by appointment only)
    • Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR)
    • Meningococcal
    • TDaP
    • Pneumococcal
    • Typhoid

A UNIQUE PROTOCOL FOR EVERY CLIENT

Our wide experience makes us sensitive to the fact that many organizations have their own special requirements for protecting the health and maintaining the productivity of their employees. For this reason, the Medics USA’s Occupational Healthcare team works with every corporate client to develop a unique protocol of service that will specify what procedures your organization requires. This client-specific protocol is shared electronically with our entire staff to ensure a uniformly high level of service.

CONVENIENT LOCATIONS AND ACCESS

We have three medical clinic locations in DC and Northern Virginia. (Our locations and hours are here.) Spanish-speakers are available at all offices. We offer online scheduling and same-day appointments. PLUS, we will come to your facility, at a convenient time, to provide immunizations, screenings, wellness classes, and more.

If you don’t have insurance and are paying for healthcare out of pocket, then you may qualify for Medics USA’s Community Care Program. We offer deep discounts for our patients on many procedures. For more information on the Community Care Program, go here.
